TIME FOR A NEW BIO! (09-27-08)
My name is Mandy though I'm known by "Twin" to most. I am now twenty-two as of March 19th and I don't feel any older. Life only brings you what you can handle but sometimes you have to remind yourself of that fact.
About a year and a half ago I was diagnosed with galbladder desiese. It usually results in the removal of the galbladder, an order used to process cholesteral. Many people have theirs removed but against the doctor's suggestion to see a surgeon within five days, I sought an alternate method of treatment.
Recently I was hospitalized for odd chest pains. I am currently seeking a specialist to pin down the cause, but it may or may not be related to my gal bladder. I really hope to keep myself in tact, but if I have to, I hear the surgery non-evasive.
I was promoted at work about five months ago, so I'm now a supervisor. Going into "Season" I'll be working a lot of overtime and have less time to draw/paint/etc. This doesn't mean I wont keep doing it, or if you comment I wont answer. I always answer eventually and I love to look at other peoples art. So keep it coming!
What to expect: More Egytpian mythology work, more Spirital (namely animal spirit) works, and something special for our moderatores. All a work in progress.

Interests
Art (obviously) aside from that I am an avid reader and I enjoy the beach very much as well.
Favorite Fantasy/Scifi Movies and TV Shows
Um, I haven't had a TV in about two and a half years but sporadically I catch some good shows like Stargate:SG1(now off air) and Atlantis. Movie wise, I love almost all vampire/lycan/witch/space related movies.
Favorite Fantasy/Scifi Books
I know a lot of people have read the "Anita Blake" series, if you haven't you should. It's by Laurell K Hamilton.
If you like that series, you should also read the "Rachel Morgan" series by Kim Harrison! They are favorites.
Of course, the not so well written but greatly concepted GOR series by John Norman also gets on my fav list.
If you don't like sci-fi esk, how about some historical based? The "Clan of the Cave Bear" series by Jean M. Auel is one of the best I have read in a long time. Certainly worth the read.
Favorite Music
I like classics (as in 40's, 50's, and 60's.) and oldies. (70's and 80's) with a few 90's but rarely anything newer than that. I'm an old soul in a young body.
